I play very often not visiting a spa at all. Pros: Visit a spa, wellness skill, cute new workout/relaxation items, yogaĬons: Spas are not something you’re going to use regularly in gameplay, even if the items and skill are. Pros: New supernatural life (aliens and plant sims were introduced in Get to Work), a ton of new itemsĬons: I just don’t love occult Sims that much–which is a reason why Get to Work is a little blah for me, too. Also, the world (Magnolia Promenade) just stinks. I think it easily could have been a game pack. There are a lot of greater small features that come with this pack, but its main premise is careers, and that’s why it’s my lowest expansion. You have the option to send your Sim alone, but it’s hard to get promoted. Sometimes I do (for example, I’m obsessed with the doctor career) but sometimes I don’t. Pros: Active careers, owning a business, amazing CAS items, baking and photography skills, determining baby’s gender, illnessesĬons: This pack completely relies on a player wanting to play an active career. It definitely could have been included with Get Together. Pros: New activity/skill, some cute vintage-y style clothes (including my favorite shorts, ever)Ĭons: A little vanilla for me. Pros: Water slide, bird feeder, drink trayĬons: This pack is missing a lot of cool items that belong in a backyard, like playgrounds and more pool options. Pros: Works well with Seasons but does not rely on it, pumpkin carving is cool.Ĭons: I’m not super into spooky and creepy things, so this is all just meh for me.

I’ve played it, I’ve read all about it, and I will probably just get it when it’s on sale next, but it doesn’t excite me–however, it’s still rated above My First Pet Stuff, which I do own) This pack does not add one thing that makes it worth it on its own, and you need an expansion pack to fully experience it, making it the only stuff pack that relies on another. I like the activity table for kids?Ĭons: In previous games, this all was included with Pets. Pros: Caged animals, pet clothing that matches Sim clothing. But today, I am focusing on my favorite installment in the franchise and rating the game, stuff, and expansion packs from worst to first. Yes, I liked Sims 3, and there are elements of it that I do miss–and I’ll post on that in the future. For the most part, I like the gameplay, and many features I miss from previous versions I have fixed by downloading some mods. I love the graphics, clothes, and items way more than I loved them in previous games. Unpopular opinion, but Sims 4 is my favorite of the series. And an English geek that needs to prove herself which is why I’m writing this in-parenthesis statement).

When my parents finally gave me a computer of my own, the very first thing I did was purchase and download the Sims 2 (little disclaimer: I know the game names should be in italics.

At the time, my two older brothers and I share a single desktop computer that lived in their room which directly translates to they ganged up to ensure that my usage of it was very limited. I remember playing the original Sims game as a kid at the age of five and six.
